As things are super-quiet with Carey lately, please bear with Siobhan and I as we fix up various things around the site We are aiming to get a lot more downloads and content up at the site asap, as well as the long-promised video archive!

Hello, just a quick admin note from myself. In order to save loading time for people I have switched the site’s theme to a less image-heavy one. I hope this works for everyone.

Over the coming week or two I am going to spend a lot of time working on the site, organising the pages and getting everything up to date. If there is anything in particular you would like to see here at Carey Mulligan Online, please leave your suggestion in the comments.

Most of you know that we no longer post candids at the site but I’ve been receiving quite a few emails recently asking me to a) post candids and b) linking me to candids and I thought I would reiterate:

Carey Mulligan Online no longer posts candids out of respect for Carey’s privacy. We realize this might cause a problem with those who come here expecting candids but I am sorry to disappoint you. We care more about Carey’s opinion(s) and feelings than we do hits or visitors or comments, etc. If you just absolutely have see candids of Carey and her personal life then please redirect yourself elsewhere (which shouldn’t be hard as I’ve seen candids posted all over hell’s half acre) as they won’t ever be posted here.

I really hope everyone can understand and follow our policy. We want to do nothing but have the utmost respect for Carey’s personal life and I’m sure her loyal, true fans will agree (and I mean those fans who come here for her career and not nosing in on her personal life by viewing intrusive photos) so please try to hold back on the many (and I do mean many) emails about candids. My fingers hurt from typing this up to so many people

As you can see, the ever elusive me is back with a brand new layout for the site! I will soon fix up all of the sites pages and make everything complete (finally), but until then, let us know what you think of the new look in the re-opened comments option!

Thanks to our lovely host, the gallery has been fixed and is back online! We are aware that it is currently still featuring a default layout, but we’ll be working on getting that back to normal asap

May I also just say congratulations to Carey on today’s BAFTA nomination for ‘An Education’, and gently nudge viewers to our sidebar, where you can see a link which will lead you to vote for Carey to win the Orange Rising Star Award – vote away!

We are aware that the gallery is not working. In fact, it hasn’t been working since Wednesday and we are trying to find a solution as to why it isn’t and so far we haven’t been able to. We are working with our host to resolve the issue. Please be patient.

Carey Mulligan Online celebrates it’s first year anniversary today and the staff at CMO would like to thank all of the loyal visitors who have stuck with us over the past year and of course to Carey who is our inspiration! Here’s to another fantastic year online

Why hello! It seems I am still alive, and as a groveling peace offering for my lack of appearance lately, I bring with my this lovely new layout! Made for us by my friend Tran. I hope you like it. I’ll be going round and sorting out those pages we still haven’t got online, and fixing bits and pieces here and there to finish the site off (finally), so do keep checking back. And don’t forget to check Carey out on The Late Late Show tonight!
