An Education premiered at the Toronto Film Festival this week, and Carey attended both the premiere and a sony? sponsored? dinner to help promote it.

I apologise for not giving the site much attention this past week, I have been extremely busy and have been having a difficult time offline, hopefully everything will resume this coming week and I’ll be able to get the site back up to scratch

Showing up with his scruffy facial hair intact,? Shia LaBeouf? emerged from his trailer clean-shaven as he readied for filming in New York City on Wednesday (September 9).

The “Transformers” hunk strolled past paparazzi as he reported for duty on the set of “Wall Street 2″ – with real-life girlfriend/co-star Carey Mulligan also on-hand to work on the sequel to the 80′s classic.

We have also been kindly informed that Carey’s film An Education will be screened at the London Film Festival on the following dates:

• 20/10/2009 at 8:30pm
• 20/10/2009 at 2.45am
• 21/10/2009 at 3.30pm
• 22/10/2009 at 1.00pm

Sony have released the first trailer for “An Education“! Unfortunately, it doesn’t allow embedding but you can view the trailer here.

The movie looks fantastic! It’s slated for a small theatrical release October 9. Caps will be up when I can grab the video so sit tight!

This morning I stumbled upon another ‘An Education’ clip. Some we’ve seen before, but there’s some new material in there too so it’s worth watching!

According to The West Australian, Carey will be attending the 2009 Melbourne International Film Festival which begins July 24- the opening night of the festival.

Other guests include French filmmaker Claire Denis with her new film 35 Shots of Rum, fresh-faced star Carey Mulligan from the coming-of-age drama An Education, and Michael Nyman, the minimalist composer known for his many collaborations with Peter Greenaway.

Over the past few weeks some brand new An Education stills have surfaced, and with thanks to Sarika for the help, I’ve finally gotten round to adding these to our gallery. Is anyone else as excited about this movie as I am?
