Carey in NY Times “T Magazine” Screen Test & on set photos

Carey recently did a New York Times “T Magazine” Screen Test and you can view it right here. She talks about “killer lines and a near death experience.” I’ll get caps up soon.

The Playlist recently attended a screening of Carey’s film ‘Never Let Me Go‘ and had this to say about Carey’s performance:

IMDB lists the story line as this : “An alternate history story of a woman who, as she reflects on her private school years in the English countryside, reunites with her two friends to face the dark secrets tied to their communal past.” That being said, the performances and dynamic between the three friends, (Knightley, Garfield and Mulligan) are beautifully executed. Mulligan stood out to me as just so endearing and believable.

The article also included a few photos of Carey filming ‘Never Let Me Go‘ alongside co-star Keira Knightley and others. The photos are small but I just love this one!



Filming ‘Never Let Me Go’

Mark Romanek is currently on location in the UK town of Clevedon, North Somerset, filming his melancholy sci-fi mystery Never Let Me Go with Keira Knightley, Carey Mulligan, Andrew Garfield and just about every other great British actor currently in their 20s. In case you do not yet know, it was adapted by Alex Garland - who previously scripted 28 Days Later and a draft of the proposed Halo film – from a novel by Kazuo Ishiguro. (…) 

Mulligan has the lead role of Kathy H., and Knightley has the supporting part of Ruth.

Carey to star in a “Never Let Me Go” along side Keira Knightley

According to Variety.com Carey is set to star in the sci-fi thriller “Never Let Me Go” for Fox Searchlight.

Story revolves around a trio who grew up in a boarding school with no contact or knowledge of the outside world until they discover they are clones grown for the sole purpose of organ donation.

Filming is set to begin in April in London and Norfolk, England.
