Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala

Last night was the rather dazzling Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala, which was the first event that the lovely Carey attended as a married woman! This year’s Benefit was celebrating the opening of the Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibition and was co-chaired by Carey, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, and designer Miuccia Prada. She looked amazing in a Prada gold and silver degradé metal paillettes scaled halter neck dress, shoes, and bag, paired with Neil Lane jewellery. Happy Easter everyone! Sorry things have been a bit quiet around here lately – Carey has been very busy going straight from wrapping The Great Gatsby to filming Inside Llewyn Davis, and as previously mentioned, we don’t post any on-set candids or paparazzi pics in respect of Carey’s privacy. However, I have been rummaging about for a few bits to keep the site updated, and came across 2 photoshoots that I hadn’t added to the gallery – one from 2010, which was for Carey’s Elle UK cover, and one from 2011, which looks like it came from the same shoot as The Hollywood Reporter set. Enjoy!

London Film Critics’ Circle Awards 2012

The London Film Critics’ Circle Awards were held tonight, and Carey attended with Shame co-star Michael Fassbender, looking gorgeous in a red Roland Mouret dress and some colour-clashing blue YSL shoes. Unfortunately, Carey did not win the award she was nominated for, but Michael did take home the British Actor of the Year award for Shame and A Dangerous Method, so congratulations to him! Pictures from the red carpet have been added to the gallery – enjoy!

National Board of Review Awards Gala

Last night, Carey attended the National Board of Review Awards Gala, looking lovely in a pale pink dress. She decided to keep a low-profile and skipped the red carpet, but I have found a handful of pictures of her posing with Shame co-star Michael Fassbender and Never Let Me Go/Pride & Prejudice co-star Keira Knightley.
