Synopsis

Snowed in by an unexpected Dartmoor blizzard, Miss Marple is offered shelter by the highly successful tory politician with a less than perfect past, Clive Trevelyan. After dining at the Three Crowns Hotel, the residents indulge in the spiritual predictions of a Ouija board, which predicts Trevelyan’s death. True to prediction, Trevelyan is murdered that night, and the evidence unravels a mysterious Egyption curse. In the absense of the police due to the terrible weather, the residents of Sittaford House and the Three Crowns hotel take it upon themselves to unearth the identity of the killer. But with a hotel filled with colourful characters, there are many likely candidates: Trevelyan’s embittered adopted son; an escaped convict hiding on the moor, or a journalist who seems intent on getting close to Trevelyan- In fact, it seems that Trevelyan made a lot of enemies during his life- but which one killed him?
