Carey Mulligan OnlineYour Original Fansite Resource for Carey Mulligan

The gallery has just been updated with 1,632 Blu-Ray screen captures of Carey Mulligan as Bathsheba Everdene in Thomas Vinterberg’s adaptation of the 1874 novel “Far from the Madding Crowd” by Thomas Hardy. Starring alongside Matthias Schoenaerts, Michael Sheen, Tom Sturridge and Juno Temple, the plot unfolds in Victorian England, where the independent and headstrong farm owner Bathsheba Everdene (Mulligan) attracts three very different suitors: Gabriel Oak (Schoenaerts), a sheep farmer; Frank Troy (Sturridge), a reckless Sergeant; and William Boldwood (Sheen), a prosperous and mature bachelor. The film was positively received, with particular praise given to Carey’s performance as Bathsheba; Rolling Stone’s Peter Travers, in his three out of four star review, said “Vinterberg may rush the final act, but he brings out the wild side in Mulligan, who can hold a close-up like nobody’s business. She’s a live wire in a movie that knows how to stir up a classic for the here and now.”

With so many streaming outlets now available, it seems everyone on the web wants to launch their own arm of original programming. And so it goes with lifestyle site Refinery29 who have rounded up a pretty starry ensemble for their webseries “The Walker” (which isn’t to be confused with the Paul Schrader film of the same name).

Carey Mulligan, Zoe Kazan, Gabourey Sidibe, and more feature in the show that will follow a real life celebrity bestie (apparently) Rightor Doyle, in a scripted version of what he encounters day-to-day. “’The Walker’ is an exploration of how friendships can be the most loving, confounding and rewarding relationships in your life,” he told ET. “It is my love letter to women, and to New York, and to friendship in all its many wild and wonderful forms.”

I dunno, sounds like “Look At My Fabulous Life: The Show,” but we’ll see. It debuts on Thursday and runs eight episodes long. Check out the trailer below.

The first official posters for Carey Mulligan’s latest film “Suffragette” were released online today, and you can view HQ versions up in the gallery.

Hello everyone! Thinks are fairly quiet around here at the moment as Carey has now finished working on “Skylight” so I’m busy working behind the scenes and have just added over 70 high-quality photoshoot and portrait images, replacing several of the old MQ shots and even adding a few that were missing. Huge thanks to Luciana for the donations. Enjoy!

On Sunday (07 June) were the 69th Annual Tony Awards, where Carey Mulligan was nominated for her role in “Skylight”. Unfortunately the main accolade went to Helen Mirren, but Carey certainly wowed on the red carpet in a gorgeous oxblood dress by Balenciaga. High-quality images are now up in the gallery.

Last night was the 60th Annual Drama Desk Awards, and Carey was nominated for Outstanding Actress, for her role as schoolteacher Kyra Hollis in Broadway play “Skylight”. Unfortunately she did not win the award (congratulations to Helen Mirren who won for her work in “The Audience”), but she did look lovely in a structure navy shift dress. 38 high-quality images are now available to view in the gallery.

As it is the lovely Carey Mulligan’s 30th birthday today, I felt that I should update the site with some nice additional high-quality stills and on set images from her latest film “Far From the Madding Crowd”. There are also a lot of replacement images for the original smaller images. Enjoy!
